“The discussion will include but not be limited to recommended extreme heat mitigation, preparedness, and response actions; the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) role in preparing for and responding to extreme heat events; the potential need for additional federal assistance; and identifying solutions that reduce the burden to local communities and save lives.”
