The hearing will examine the current state of the United States’ aerospace workforce, challenges facing future industry needs, implementation of the workforce-related provisions in the 2018 Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reauthorization law, and proposed solutions designed to address ongoing challenges in advance of Congress reauthorizing the FAA’s statutory authorities which expire on October 1, 2023.
