Washington, DC- Today, Chair of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Peter DeFazio (D-OR) and Chair of the Subcommittee on Aviation Rick Larsen (D-WA) announced the Subcommittee will hold a hearing titled “State of Aviation Safety.” The hearing will gather government and stakeholder perspectives on the state of aviation safety, including identifying current challenges facing the aviation system and actions needed to maintain and ensure the safety of the traveling public.
