Washington, DC - Today, Chair of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Peter DeFazio (D-OR) and Chair of the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment Grace F. Napolitano (D-CA) announced that the subcommittee will hold a hearing titled, “Proposals for a Water Resources Development Act of 2022: Stakeholder Priorities.”
During this hearing, members will hear from state and local officials, Tribal groups, and other stakeholders regarding priorities for a new Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) of 2022. This hearing is the second in a series of three planned hearings to inform the committee as it develops a new WRDA.
