Washington, DC - Today, Chair of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Peter DeFazio (D-OR) and Chair of the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment Grace F. Napolitano (D-CA) announced the subcommittee will hold a hearing titled, “Proposals for a Water Resources Development Act of 2022: Administration Priorities.” This hearing will initiate the committee process for the development of Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) legislation for 2022. It will also provide members an opportunity to receive testimony from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the Biden administration’s priorities for this new legislation.
