Ranking Member Larsen Statements on Today’s Markup

Washington, D.C.—Today, House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Ranking Member Rick Larsen (D-WA) released the following statements after Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) officially joined the subcommittees on Highways and Transit and Rail, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials and Rep. André Carson (D-IN) was officially made ranking member of the Subcommittee on Aviation.

“Since joining Congress, Representative Maxwell Frost has been a leader on transportation, fighting for more affordable and efficient public transit with his Transit Bus Affordability Act,” Ranking Member Larsen said. “As a native Floridian, Representative Frost understands the transportation needs of his constituents and will hit the ground running as an effective advocate for a safer, cleaner, greener and more accessible transportation system.”
