Washington, DC— Today, House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Ranking Member Rick Larsen (D-WA) announced Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) will join the T&I Committee, and the two Members released the following statements.
“Since joining Congress, Representative Maxwell Frost has been a leader on transportation, fighting for more affordable and efficient public transit with his Transit Bus Affordability Act,” Ranking Member Larsen said. “As a native Floridian, Representative Frost understands the transportation needs of his constituents and will hit the ground running as an effective advocate for a safer, cleaner, greener and more accessible transportation system.”
"Transit brings communities together, makes commutes easier and more affordable, and provides access to opportunities that improve lives,” Rep. Frost said. “People in Florida and across the nation deserve safe, reliable infrastructure, which is why I’m honored to join the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee to help deliver on that promise and to build a future where every community has the connections it needs to thrive."
