Ranking Member Larsen Applauds $148.3 Million for 70 Airports Thanks to Bipartisan Infrastructure Law

Washington, D.C. — Today, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Rick Larsen (D-WA) issued the following statement after the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced $148.3 million in Airport Infrastructure Grant projects for 70 airports, thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

 “These investments will help ensure that airports across the country will be able to facilitate the movement of passengers and goods safely and efficiently for decades to come,” Ranking Member Larsen said. “Thanks to this funding, airports in my district will invest in additional infrastructure improvements, increase safety and create more jobs. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law continues to help communities across the country modernize airports to boost the economy, enhance the passenger experience, and improve safety.”
