WASHINGTON, DC— Today, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Rick Larsen (D-WA) applauded the U.S. Department of Transportation for selecting 37 projects to receive $4.9 billion in funding that will help move freight and people across the country more safely and efficiently.
“The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law continues to provide transformative funding for communities across the country to upgrade their transportation infrastructure,” Ranking Member Larsen said. “These grants help communities tackle their toughest infrastructure challenges while creating good jobs and making the nation’s transportation cleaner, greener, safer, and more accessible.”
This funding comes from two grant programs funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law: the Infrastructure for Rebuilding America (INFRA) grant program and the National Infrastructure Project Assistance (Mega) Program.
