Ranking Member Larsen Statement on Collapse of Francis Scott Key Bridge

EVERETT, WA – Ranking Member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Rick Larsen (D-WA) released the statement below following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore.
 
“My heart goes out to the victims of the bridge collapse early this morning in Baltimore and their loved ones. Thank you to the first responders who immediately arrived on the scene and continue to search for survivors,” Ranking Member Larsen said. “While National Transportation Safety Board investigators determine the cause of the collapse, this is a harrowing reminder that transportation safety must always be our top priority.”
