Ranking Member Larsen Statement on Confirmation of Michael Whitaker to Lead the Federal Aviation Administration

Washington, D.C. – Ranking Member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Rick Larsen (D-WA), released the following statement following Senate confirmation of Michael Whitaker to lead the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

“Congratulations to Michael Whitaker on his confirmation as the new leader of the Federal Aviation Administration,” Ranking Member Larsen said. “I look forward to working with him to build a safer, cleaner, greener and more accessible aviation system starting with the speedy passage of our job-creating FAA reauthorization bill which awaits action in the Senate.”
