Washington, D.C. – Today, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Rick Larsen (D-WA) released the following statement after the U.S. Supreme Court announced its decision in the case of San Francisco v. Environmental Protection Agency.
“Today’s ruling from the Supreme Court puts polluters over people, makes it harder for communities to deliver clean water to families and businesses, and will result in delays and denials for projects that need permits,” Ranking Member Larsen said. “No one has ever complained about water being too clean, but this Supreme Court decision will result in complaints that water is too dirty.”
