Washington, D.C. – Ranking Member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Rick Larsen (D-WA) released the following statement after the House passed the Bipartisan Budget Agreement.
“Today, I supported a deal that avoids a catastrophic default and leaves the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s funding fully intact to continue to support communities, create jobs and keep our economy competitive,” Ranking Member Larsen said. “The bipartisan understanding that Congress must continue investing in our infrastructure at historic levels is a testament to the BIL’s success supporting tens of thousands of projects across the country. I look forward to President Biden signing this deal after Senate passage.”
